Erin has helped manage a range of challenging consumer and reputation management campaigns for some of America’s most prominent brand names and corporations, including Saab, Mission Foods, 3M, Ace Hardware, Jim Beam and others. She has honed her expertise in media relations over her career, building strong relationships with both consumer and mainstream media outlets. She also has represented senior-level executives in their efforts to promote their individual brands while simultaneously advancing business goals.
Erin’s experience includes positioning a prominent think tank president as a thought leader with recurring cable television appearances, including multiple "guest hosting" roles on CNBC's Squawk Box and guest spots on Fox News, Fox Business and MSNBC programs. She also managed executive media and speaking venue placements for one of the largest transmission and distribution utilities in the U.S. Throughout her career she secured coveted placements in outlets such as Axios, NPR, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox Business News, Woman’s Day, GQ: Gentleman’s Quarterly, The Washington Post, and Associated Press, among others. She also has a specialty in developing grassroots media strategies that generate local print, broadcast and online coverage.
Erin began her career at Edelman, where her responsibilities included being embedded at GE’s headquarters to supervise the creation of the company’s sustainability report and anniversary event for its groundbreaking ecomagination initiative. She then moved on to DBC PR+New Media, a boutique consumer public relations firm before joining Hillenby, where she currently serves as Vice President.
